About the Event
The afternoon includes:
- A 3.5-4 hour taster session which starts with a fun discussion around the life of honeybees and what they want and need in nature (and from people). We then get to learn about some of the tools and equipment and take an up-close look at a typical French beehive.
- There is a honey tasting where we share at least 5 different types of artisanal honey and then the group gets suited-up and we head to the apiary to open a hive and take a good look at the colony.
- There are plenty of opportunities to take photos and ask questions and all safety equipment, tools and even wellies are provided, if people need them.
Please register your interest quickly and a booking form will be e-mailed to you. Further sessions will be arranged if there is demand.
